Basically there are two types of extraction; the first being the cold pressing of the copra (the white coconut flesh) and the second method being the boiling of white coconut milk. At JT's Coconut Essence we use the first method of cold pressing through innovative production methods by highly skilled and dedicated staff from continuous processing which results in an oil of exceptional quality, smooth creamy texture, delicate aroma and taste.

Cold pressing retains all the nutrients and volatile components which the boiling of the coconut milk partially destroys, hence making the "cold pressed" method the best option.
